Frequently asked questions
How many devices can I connect?
Up to 10 personal links per server, and each link can be opened on several devices: VLESS+Reality, Hysteria2, Shadowsocks and OpenConnect allow it. A big family with heavy traffic — say, 4K on several TVs — is better off with two servers.
Does my family need to register?
No. The account and payment are yours alone; your family only needs the link and the Howl app.
What will my family see?
Only the server you shared — not your other servers, your dashboard or your payment details.
Can I cut off access?
Yes, you can revoke a link: it can no longer be used to add the server or update the profile. A profile already added to a device may keep working until you change the server’s credentials in your dashboard.
Why doesn’t AmneziaWG work through a link?
AmneziaWG has one key per device: if two devices connect at once, the connection drops on both. So it stays with the owner only, and your family gets the protocols that work on many devices at the same time.
